IoT platform provider Ayla Networks introduced their new Ayla Insights recently, which gives manufacturers the ability to see and use data about their products in a whole new way. This will allow manufacturers of connected products the chance to ask some questions about how and their product is used. Once they have this data, manufacturers can modify their product or service to fit the needs of customers better. In some cases, products that were never meant to be connected, will now be providing data back to the manufacturer.
