There are a few free apps out there that work really hard for you. Some of my current favorites in the PR world are IDoneThis and Toggl.
Venture Capitalist Trevor Loy from Flywheel Ventures recommended IDoneThis and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s a great way to capture the work that you’ve done in the day. It sends you an email at the end of the day asking you to write down what you accomplished today. Then, it keeps track of those items. If you work on a team, it keeps track of everyone’s accomplishments. Sometimes something so simple is the best thing. Try it out.
Toggl is great for those of us that need to keep track of our time and record how long a project takes. If you can track it, you can bill it. Perfect for PR agencies. Both of these are easy to use and helpful.
